I get lost in the joy of creating images with fabric. Drawing and redrawing shapes until they are just right, trying different fabrics until I find the perfect one, sitting at my machine putting it all together, and standing at my longarm adding the needed dimension until it complete. The process...that's my Bliss.
Fabric Requirements for applique.
7 Fat 1/4s  Black and white batiks
18 Fat 1/8s Bright batiks
Pattern directions are for fusible Applique technique but you can use any technique you prefer.

I have seen this pattern finished at the Camrose quilt show.  The use of black and white is really stunning and beautifully crisp.    It's a quilt Show Winner.
